| Description | This sub-series comprises of pieces in various media produced by Margaret Hodge [Hilda Margaret Whitaker née Hodge] during her time as a tutor at the Malayan Teachers' Training College, Kirkby, from 1954-1958. The paintings and drawings capture her student models either posed for portraits or as figurative studies showing the students engaging in a variety of activities.The contemporaneous nature and subject matter of these pieces suggest that they were used as early studies in preparation for 'Tijah, Mat dan Nor'.
