Improvement Scheme, with details and costs of the scheme (c. 1900); handwritten list of owners and others served with an Order under the Prescot (Housing of Working Classes) Order, 1901; draft copy, with annotations and corrections, of a Provisional Order for Confirming an Improvement Scheme for the Urban District of Prescot, under Part I of the Housing of the Working Classes Act, 1890 (1901); four Notices of Intention to Take Lands Compulsorily Under an Improvement Scheme, with details of owners or occupiers sent to and the relevant properties (in High Street, Tea Street and Brown's Court [or Brown's Square], 1901); report of a deputation of the Prescot U.D.C. board to Whitehall regarding the Improvement Scheme, with details of the discussions at the meeting (9 October 1902); typescript letter from the Assistant Secretary to the Local Government Board, Whitehall, London, to the Prescot U.D.C. Clerk (8 July 1903) regarding architectural plans for the proposed new housing under the Improvement Scheme, accompanied by handwritten notes of a meeting of members of the Prescot U.D.C. board regarding the letter (10 July 1903).
