Description | Bundle of letters to Sally Whittaker from Miss W. Tidd Pratt, the Director of the Liverpool Women Police Patrols. The first, from 1936, invites Sally to come into the office to help out and "see how [she] gets on." The second, from 1939, expresses regret at not seeing Sally to say goodbye before she left and thanks her for her work in the office. The third, from 1943, enquires after Sally and asks her if she might be interested in applying for a patrol vacancy. The final, undated, letter is presumably shortly after the third and suggests that Sally may like to take up a patrol role when she has some free time from her role with the WAAF.
